I went fishing at Beaver Lake when I was a kid. In fact, one might argue that Beaver Lake is the very place where I learned that I don't enjoy fishing.

I actually just left Beaver Lake. 1. its huge. 2. there are ample places to buy booze. 3. I loved it, but I had a kick ass motorhome and a boat. With out those things it would have been pretty rough.

Almost went there with a guide last fall but had to back out. He said he would guarantee me a striper big enough to put on the wall.

I used to swim in Beaver when I was younger. Now that I have gotten older and fatter, not so much.

I live pretty close to Beaver. I actually have a slip on Tablerock (Beaver feeds Tablerock). If you are there fishing or diving, you’ll let be it. The water is very clear and considered one of the top lake to dive. If you are wanting to camp, I’d recommend going toTablerock. Towns like Shell Knob, Eagle Rock, or Kimberling City.
