Anyone who likes curry would like my poverty version. I'm gonna go heat some up for dinner! PS, the thread is "what did you have for dinner," not "impress these kitchen elitists." |

Hai guyz, you ever heard of my super version of poverty spaghetti? I open a can of Spahgetti-Ohs, pout it into a bowl and microwave it. Try it some time!! . . . psst, the secret weapon is Parmesan cheese sprinkled on at the end.

Genius!!! You figured out what a billion peasants who bathe in sewage and defecate in the street have known for generations.

I would equate it more to browning some hamburger, pouring a jar of Ragu on top, and serving over some boiled spaghetti.

Speaking of hamburgers... how do y'all like your sear? Part of the reason I usually do burgers in cast iron is because I really love a hard sear on a burger. I love a good solid crust.

I'm getting ready to grill some chicken thighs.
I'm having some brews in celebration of my little 4 day weekend. Cheers! |

I never thought about searing a hamburger. I usually BBQ my burgers when the temp is low. I'll have to try searing soon.
