I'm having a weird moment.
So I'm sitting in a roadhouse bar in semi-rural Louisiana having a beer at the bar and watching football. The ole boy to my right is a truck driver from the Missouri/Arkansas border. The guy next to him is a local, and they have made friends.

The have been buying each other drinks back and forth for the last hour or so. Whiskey, right? No. Jaager shots? Guess again. They are taking advantage of the 2 for 1 margarita special. (They ordered frozen, but the bar only serves them on the rocks.)

Weird.

Not thread-worthy by itself, so just post here whenever you're having one of those "how did my life lead up to this moment" moments.

Because I wasn't going to stay in the extremely rural Louisiana town I had to visit for work.

This place is great, though. I had to visit a town yesterday where the nearest place to get ANY food was 6 miles away. The restaurand was filled with some of the strangest looking people you ever saw...except for one waitress. Holy shit was she gorgeous. Still can't figure that one out.
