Thoughts?

Yeah ratings are going down for all sports including hockey because some football are kneeling. Right. Guess cord cutting has nothing to do with it.

The data suggests otherwise. There's a study on it, that I've linked in another thread. While it's certainly not the only factor, it does seem to be having an impact.

Leave them off the field or stop the anthem and I still say Kaepernick has no team because league figured out he was one dimensional. Only horrific injury toll gets him back in NFL. He is CFL material.

My family normally does 1 game/year. Very small potatoes I know. But between tickets/parking/hot dogs/beer (for me ) and so on, it's normally a $800ish donation to the NFL.

A couple weeks ago, Roger Goodell said that us fans are just gonna have to put up with the rich football players tantrums, so I guess that is the case. But, what I don't have to do is donate my hard earned money to their SJW crap!

Goodell has chosen a side, and I hope Clark realizes a lot of us rural hillbillies that fill the seats from week to week will not fork over our pennies to be told that the country we love will be disrespected and we will like it... and PAY FOR IT!!

Marcus Peters is an awesome talent at corner. But I have no use for him if he decides he hates the common folk that support the Chiefs AND the United States. He certainly has his rights, but I have mine too.

$2.6M cap hit this year and $3M cap hit next year. Will be interesting to see how the Chiefs decide to handle this. Not surprised based on this player's history.

Ohh good grief. They're not going to cut him over National Anthem crap. He's one of the best defenders in a position with little depth. They should handle it by telling people to quit being offended by the dumbest of bullshit.

Good grief? Did I say they were going to cut him? Interesting that you chose to read it that way. By the way, respecting the flag & the National Anthem is not dumb b*******. I spent a good part of my life on military bases where people stopped their cars and saluted the flag when the flag was lowered at the end of the day. They stood and sang the national anthem before a movie started in the Post theater. They respeced their country even when they didn't agree with everything that was going on within the country. And these were not millionaires playing a kids' game. These were soldiers who fought for our country. Soldiers & and their families.

I respect the flag to the upmost, but Peters didn't join the military, he is on a football team. Who cares what his opinion is?

When someone doesn't respect the flag, I don't view it as my problem, they have the problem and I'm not going to waste my time with their issues.

Head coaches could give them the next quarter off. No need to explain anything. Just give them a chance to recover from their bleeding vag for the first quarter. Especially those menstrual cramping and in so much pain that they have to take a knee.
