CNN

Can we start treating them like The Onion. I love The Onion, it's great entertainment. Can we all agree it's the same type of news now?

How many CNN reporters does it take to write a story about nothing? Apparently the answer is 3.

President Trump's legal team plots next move following the North Korea summit
By Dana Bash, Gloria Borger and Evan Perez, CNN

Washington (CNN)As he flew back from the historic North Korea summit, a euphoric President Donald Trump worked the phones, calling key lawmakers to tell them what happened inside his meeting with Kim Jong Un -- which Trump deemed a success.

But he also made less celebratory calls -- to his lawyers -- to discuss what he faces next: a potential showdown with Robert Mueller over his willingness to answer the special counsel's questions about the Russia investigation........

Side note........i am really fond of the special Russia Investigation graphic....

Oh the ****ing irony on this so ****ing awesome...

Quote:
During a live shot in the next hour, Acosta decried the lack of civility by these Trump supporters and highlighted a woman who had heckled him. Responding to her calls for CNN to pack up and leave, he asserted like a true firefighter that “we are here to do our jobs.”
Quote:
Fast-forward exactly an hour later and Acosta was peeved that he had gotten a taste of his own medicine: “With all of this talk of civility, Wolf, I can tell you not all of the people in this crowd...treated us with that level of civility that we all think that Americans should be entitled to across this country.”

Hey, Let's have Lebron in for a special Trump-bashing special.....

LeBron: Trump is using sports to divide us

LeBron James thinks President Trump is using athletics, and athletes, to split up the country. And he's rejecting the premise like an opponent's ill-advised layup.

"What I've noticed over the past few months," James shared with CNN's Don Lemon during a sit-down interview on Monday. "(Is) he's kinda used sports to kinda divide us, and that's something that I can't relate to."

Referencing Colin Kaepernick, whose kneeling protests during the pre-game national anthem launched an NFL movement, and more recently, Stephen Curry, who honored his promise of skipping a visit to Donald Trump's White House, James bemoaned a myriad of instances in which Trump has twisted peaceful displays of dissent into an indictment of a decaying American value system.

"I can't sit back and say nothing," said James, who lists participating in youth athletics as one of the most inclusive experiences of his upbringing.

"Sports was the first time I was ever around someone white," revealed the four-time NBA MVP. "I got an opportunity to see them and learn about them, and they got the opportunity to learn about me ... And I was like, 'Oh wow, this is all because of sports.'"

Flashing the trademark smile that has routinely graced magazine covers and commercial shoots since he was a junior in high school, James laughed at learning how much earlier his youthful "white friends" ate dinner and went to bed, and noted his surprise at seeing food stored in a pantry.

"For me, everything where I grew up was on top of the refrigerator," he explained.

Now a 33-year-old man, with two sons and a daughter, James has more pantries, and more refrigerators, than he'd ever dreamed of as the child of a single teen mom living the "everyday struggle" in Akron, Ohio. But it's from this existence that his "I Promise School" has been born.

James' foundation has teamed with the Akron (Ohio) Public Schools system to create an elementary school that will support at-risk children in his hometown.
"We want every kid that walks through this school to be inspired, to come ... away with something, something where they can give back," said James, who poured millions from his own pocket into the project. "For kids, in general, all they want to know is that someone cares. And when they walk through that door, I hope they know that someone cares."

Asked by Lemon about the prospect of entering politics after his playing days, James at first dodged the subject like so many defenders throughout his career. But when asked what he would say if someone told him, "If you don't run, Trump's going to win," he had a change of tune. "Well, in that case, I may (run)," James said. "I believe there's someone else out there. I hope."

Queried on what he'd say to Trump if they were face to face, he was quick to say, "I would never sit across from him."

James' main focus is helping the next generation conquer their obstacles -- with inspiration from the past.

"If we look at some of the greatest leaders of our time, you look at, you know, Muhammad Ali, you look at Dr. Martin Luther King, and all the adversity they went through," he told Lemon. "They always use it to say 'OK, this is even more motivation, this is even more a way for me to even be more powerful.' And they're the reason why we are here today."

Donald Trump Didnít Take a Knee, LeBron

RUSH: Then when I am driving in ó I didnít tell you this ó I hear that LeBron James (LeBron James!) did an interview on CNN. You know the noted political expert, LeBron James? LeBron James says that President Trump is using sports to divide the nation. Really? LeBron James! At least Michael Jordan knew that Republicans buy sneakers too.

So while he wanted to sell sneakers, Jordan for the most part steered away from this stuff, even though heís a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat and leftist. But LeBron JamesÖ Look, I know we have freedom of speech; anybody can say what they want. But the man has no political education whatsoever. But there he was on CNN. He was on there with Don Lemon. Of course, heís serving the exact purpose that CNN wants. Hereís some famous athlete railing against Trump, and itís supposed to bring all the other dead-brain dolts that watch that network right along into the fold, that Trump is an idiot, that Trumpís dividing the nation with racism.

May I ask, ďWho started this?Ē

Who started this business? Who decided to start taking a knee and disrespecting the national anthem? That would be a guy named Colin Kaepernick, right? And then who decided to join him? A bunch of other athletes, some buddies on the San Francisco 49ers and some other NFL teams. I donít care how you slice it. When the national anthem is being played and the flag is being hoisted and you do anything that looks like youíre protesting that, itís gonna be properly understood as you are protesting America. Youíre protesting the flag and people who protect it such as the U.S. military.

Add the fact that you are playing a game, although risky, for which youíre being paid millions of dollars. It just doesnít quite follow that America is this gigantic, oppressive, racist place. But there he is, LeBron James, and heís on there with CNN with Don Lemon saying the president Trump is using sports to ďdivideĒ the nation. ď[Trump]ís kinda used sports to kinda divide us, and thatís something that I canít relate to,Ē said Professor James.

ďFrom the controversy over NFL players kneeling during the national anthem to selective teamsí invitations to the White House, NBA superstar LeBron James believes President Donald Trump is using sports to create division throughout the country.Ē Well, now, the way I saw it Donald Trump was minding his own business. One day, he decided to run for president ó and despite all the odds, he won. A whole bunch of hateful feel spraining up the moment Trump announced and started saying some of the most horrible, vilifying things toward Trump and his family.

But Trump was minding his own business one day until the Kaepernick incident happened and then other NFL players picked it up and then other athletes decided to get in on the action and say to the media, ďHey, cover me! Cover me! Iíll also diss America if thatís what it takes to get coverage.Ē So they do it, and Trump reacts. So Trump reacting to these spoiled brats being used as political tools by left-wing activists like CNN and others. Trump is accused of using sports to divide the nation. Trump didnít take the knee. Trump didnít disrespect the flag.

Trump didnít try to get other people to join him in kneeling while the anthem was being played. All Trump did was call out the people who were doing it, and now we have LeBron James accusing Trump of using sports to divide the nation. Itís the left, and LeBron James is one of those ó to the extent that he knows it. Heís a Democrat; so heís a leftist. They are the people dividing the nation. Thatís their objective. Thatís their purpose. They donít like America, as founded.

Theyíre fed up with it because of all the imaginary injustices that they think America represents. So they are hell-bent on doing whatever damage to America, or at least displaying a lack of solidarity with America. Another example of leftists accusing their opponents of what they themselves are doing! Itís right of Alinskyís Rules for Radicals ó which Iím sure LeBron James reads in the hotel during the playoffs during his spare time. Iím sure heís an expert on Rules for Radicals. Why else would he be appearing on CNN?

Whatís happening here is LeBron James is being goaded into using his sports platform to divide. Who kneeled first? It certainly wasnít Trump.

Lebron hosted a rally for Hillary in 2016

So he clearly mixes sports and politics

Hypocrite.
