He missed an entire season and got a minor extension, and then they promote him to primary backup. I say that's a good sign for the young man.

The point is they clearly like something they see and want to give him the chance to succeed. I'm not saying he's a shoe-in for a roster spot, but they certainly view him as having the inside edge.

Eh, it's the first OTA. The guy hasn't played any type of football since 2014 Training Camp and preseason due to his ACL injury.

And for reference, Eric Kush opened up last year as the starting center, with Morse at right guard.

We all know how that turned out.

That, or they want to see how he handles that role, and understand that the position is very fluid depending on how he responds.

Being promoted on the roster is never a bad thing. Now it's up to Bray to earn that spot.

We all know he has the arm talent. We don't know if he's developed that 10cent head and carelessness with the ball.

Im sure it's a very fluid position. It's a 3-way dog fight. But Bray is getting the early nod.

I still can't believe anyone would root against him. He has the potential to not only become the QBOTF, but actually play an exciting brand of qb, something not seen since the Trent green years. At worst, he will be cut, no loss since he was undrafted.

Right there is the key point.

Welp, we have a lot of interesting talent at Qb. First time in many years we can say that. Im sure everyone has someone they're rooting for. Murray, Bray and Hogan all have shown flashes and they all have some interesting tools that make one believe they could be "it". Im in the Bray camp. Football is entertainment and whippin' it all over the field entertains me.
