Not beating the ****ing shit out of a rudderless Houston team at home would be a big, big disappointment.

That team isn't as bad as they looked tonight, but they're far from good, too.

If they win by 1 point, I'm happy.

Are you still skeptical about my 10 win floor prediction?

I don't know if I ever addressed that claim, to be honest, though I certainly wouldn't have agreed with it at the time.

The defense is playing quite well, and it's evident that the team is well coached. If Smith can combine the last two weeks of aggressiveness with more crisp play, this team becomes a threat to make real noise in the playoffs.

You didn't address me, per se, but you made several snide remarks referring to the Chiefs "supposed" ten win floor. BossChief did several times as well.

This was the most contentious, bitter and venemous offseason, ever, on Chiefsplanet.

I guess going 4-12, 2-14, 4-12, 2-14 in a short period of time pisses people off. I just hope we can all get back to "normal" soon.

I figured anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7. I might've underestimated.

12-4, and we'll host a traditional playoff loss. Overall, this season will be a remarkable rebound, and DM will think he's won yet another World Series.
So you think we'll have a better record than Denver?

6. Oakland W
7. Houston W-Schaub is terrible and they're falling apart.
8. Cleveland W
9. @Buffalo W
10. BYE WEEK
11. @Denver L close for most of the game, but then they pull away
12. San Diego W
13. Denver W emotional win IMO. Could be an L
14. @Washington L they will be on their feet and up for this game
15. @Oakland W
16. Indianapolis L
17. @San Diego L We will probably be resting players since we'll have the 5 seed locked up by this time.

12-4 and a 5 seed. We're probably going to play on the road against a 4 seed like Cincinnati who is 10-6, which is bullshit because we have a better record.

That's about where I was, as well.

I don't think there were many people seriously predicting a 5-0 start or a potential 10+ win year.

In fact, I distinctly remember being criticized by members of the homer brigade for saying .800 or worse would be a disappointment, that it was expecting too much from a 2-14 squad.

Honestly folks, we have a damn easy schedule.

The next 3 weeks, we play a terrible Faiders team, a Texans team that is in disarray and a terrible Cleveland team all at home.

The Cowboys are the closest to a real team we'll see until we go to Denver.

A Conference-based playoff system determined by league wide wins with weight given to division winners.
