***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

No, the facts say that Von has been more productive (in some ways) and he has done so against a different class of player than Aldon has faced...and that his team scores more points so he is in a lot more pass rushing situations.

Nobody is saying that Von isnt an elite pass rusher, he is, but I dont think you can say he is a better pass rusher than a guy that averages a sack and a half a game and is on pace to break the record for sacks in a season.

We threw the ball 25 times today, bro. 26 if you include Hillis' trick play.

That's more than enough chances for (supposedly) "the best pure pass rusher in the league"; did Von generate real pressure on any one of those plays?

EDIT: That's 26 passing plays in a game that we held a lead into the 3rd quarter; even then it was only a 5 point game. We passed plenty; we could have easily run the ball another 20 times (see: Ravens game).

Here's a question: how do you feel about Von Miller being outplayed by Justin Houston?

He came close a couple times. So did Doom. Most of your passes were one read dumpoff passes for 5 or less yards, you weren't trying to get 15-20 yard gains or anything.

And when you did go deep you weren't trying to complete the pass. You were just trying to keep us honest so we would think twice about loading the box.

To your first point: welcome to our offense since, oh, I don't know, ****ING 2008! Have you not been paying attention? We haven't had a QB, minus Orton (who didn't get sacked when we beat you last season, am I right?), who could properly go through his progressions since Trent Green.

And your second point is laughable.. Not trying to complete passes? Why would you NOT want 40 yards on one play? That's just reeruned to assume. The real issue is that they're low percentage passes to begin with and our QB probably has the worst deep ball in the league.

It was pissing me off. I love watching Von and Doom tee off on QB's. I actually said during your last drive that I wished the refs would give the Chiefs another minute on the clock so that Von could get a couple chances to pass rush.

Maybe I worded it wrong. But I guarantee you that when Daboll called those deep passes that he wasn't expecting the pass to be completed. He was just hoping to get lucky.

With Brady Quinn slinging the rock, I reckon you're right.

I don't think Daboll knows what the **** he's doing anyway so as far as I'm concerned he's just always trying to get lucky.

Run Jamaal right off tackle. Run Jamaal sweep right. Run Jamaal left. Run Jamaal up the middle. Run Jamaal right off tackle... It's obvious he's just hoping Jamaal breaks one every drive.

Why because I am genuinely excited about my team?

I bet you were pretty excited about the 2010 Chiefs, but you knew in the back of your mind that you weren't going anywhere...

Well I actually believe that this team can win the Super Bowl this year. So yeah I am a little giddy about some of the players on this team. Especially Von.

We didn't go to Donk boards and shit everywhere.

Also, I never really believed the team was ready to become REALLY good until they replaced Cassel

The Chiefs have no answer for any pass defense you dumb**** and they still almost won. With any kind of QB and they win by double digits. Vondumb was invisible with only a fluke sack to boot.
