Nearly half of their starters are top draft picks. To top it off most are Pro-Bowlers. Sure they've had top picks a lot of the time, but that's a heck of a draft record.

If these guys had been able to hold onto Mike Peterson and Marcus Washington, their defense would be better than their offense right now.

They've built their entire team through the draft. They don't have a lot of big FA's. Stokley and Corey Simon is pretty much it. They've also done a great job in later rounds and with undrafted FA's, getting guys like Robert Mathis and Cato June. Go look through their starters and key players sometime... it'll make you sick. All kinds of late round picks and people they picked up off of the heap like Lilja and Vanderjagt...

That's because they wouldn't be able to afford their offense.

Cato June and Gary Brackett are pretty good and play that system well. Really fast.
