Is it time to replace Arrowhead with a dome?

The cold, crappy Dec/Jan. KC weather doesn't appear to provide any real home field advantage anymore.

At least the fans wouldn't be so miserable in a nice climate controlled facility. No more thousands of no shows or leaving at halftime on bad weather days.

Yes, AWESOME view. But I'd still like it gone or the glass moved all the way to the rail. It's just embarrassing to see the seats empty because "they're all up in the suite." Being in a yellow seat and having suite access isn't mutually inclusive, but all I know is that band of yellow, even at a crowded game, is embarrassing "irregardless" (as I like to say) as to why.

I can tell you this, the few times I've been in the yellow, it was awesome! And I've been in suites int he Edward Jones Dome, and that was awesome too, so I don't know the answer, but empty seats are embarrassing. Perhaps they should put blowup dolls in them if they're not going to sit in them!

I think it is as good as anything else in the league. Welcome to the modern NFL.

Fans decided it was alright to make TV revenue and sponsors and money more important than their part in the came so come what may...

Interestingly enough the club seat thing does not seem as bad as it used to be and the people in the seats are not *that* bad noise wise.

The Chiefs web site states: "Dating back to ’90, Kansas City owns the seventh-best regular season home winning percentage among all NFL teams with a 106-54 (.663) record over that span."

So it seems like they win at home more often than not.

It all depends on where you want to place the cutoff. What if you placed it at 2008?

And I can top that.....since the 80s they've won every super bowl they've played in.

Welp, with what I just saw on the news, it looks like not having a dome has us off the list for hosting a SB at least until beyond 2020.

Ask yourself this question: How much do you really care about where they play the game?

I couldn't tell you where they've played any of the last 10. I can tell you pretty much who's played in them.

You make a good point, and it's not wrong, but it still doesn't make it not suck.

Nothing quiets Arrowhead like 3rd and 18 and we give up 20 over the middle. Back in the 90s the rules weren't so ****ed for the offense. There is no excuse that Truman Sports Complex doesnt have the rolling roof that was promised to the tax payer. We just let corrupt politicians win the day without repercussions and we still do to this day.

It would be cool if they said they were going to make that roof that can roll between Arrowhead and the K, just to see the NFL's next excuse for not bringing the SB to KC. I'm sure it would be hotel rooms, but it would be nice to force them to actually say it (again). Then, once that deal is built (where the K should have been built!!!!), it'll be interesting to see what their excuse would be then. I'm sure it'll be something like, "Except for the occasional special favor to an owner (or whatever Robert Kraft and the Pat's tell us to do), no SB shall be played north of the 36th parallel."
