Which unit is in the most disarray right now?

I know you want to pick all of them. I understand that there's an argument for "All of the above." But if you had to pick just one unit - the worst kid in the whole Willy Wonka factory - which unit would you pick as being the worst right now?

ITT: Rain Man comes under fire for poll construction.

And I thought I'd seen everything here.

Our defensive coaching/play calling has been shit IMO, but it doesn't help that Sutton no longer has guys like Berry, Hali, Abdullah, Poe, Devito, Howard, Sean Smith, etc....

That's a lot of talent that we once had on defense when they were all damn near in their primes. And I'm not saying that we should have kept some of those guys, we shouldn't have given their age and price. But, we haven't come close to replacing a lot of them either and that's the problem.

I find it funny that receiver was the biggest question mark coming into the year, and we're all in agreement that it's not the weak link.

The entire defense sucks. No one is playing up to their contract, and the guy who might be closest is Frank Zombo. Think about that. Frank ****ing Zombo is playing closer to his contract value than anyone else on the entire defense.

However, when talking about a group, I think our LB play is the worst. A truly good LB can help with the pass rush, run defense and coverage. The fact that we’re bad at all of these elemeents certainly does not indicate sterling play by our LBs. They make virtually NO jarring hits, knock down zero passes, acquire few (if any) sacks, and can’t cover worth shit.

DJ is past done, Houston’s game is mostly based on strength, not speed, and Zombo is turtle slow. Too early to form a strong perspective on Ragland, but so far, his play is encouraging. Nonethless, as a unit, our LBs might just be the worst in the league.

No. I hope they put Mitchell outside and Revis in the slot.

The biggest problem is the front seven imo. OLBs don't get pressure. Don't give me the Sutton BS either. Houston had a record season under Sutton and got a huge contract because of it. DJ is old and it shows. It's time to star Pierre over DJ. ROLB is a mess. I like they are giving Tanoh a chance though.

The d-line is meh. Jones seems to get doubled more than Logan. He not Dontari Poe. Bailey has taken a step back and Roches hit the sophomore slump.

The biggest problem with the offense is the scheme. In the first two drives Alex lined up under center every time but once. We ran a draw for zero yards out of the shotgun on that play. After that we abandoned the i form and single back again.

Most of all I think There is a chemistry problem. It's not the same attitude and "family" togetherness we saw in the past four years. Something happened that we will probably never know about.

Better Dline & LB play would help the DBs tremendously.. but still. The DBs can't defend routine jump balls, always play 10 yards off and cough up first downs, safeties are NO WHERE to be found in coverage, Revis/Peters can't tackle. Utter shit show.

Offense: Borderline elite at the very best, pretty bad at the very worst.
Defense: Mediocre at the very best, pretty bad at the very worst.
