He could be wearing 00 and the DT comparisons are going to happen because he looks like DT out there. He is fast as shit off the line and heads straight for the QB.

I didn't realize that. All the articles that I read after the draft made it sound like Elway "suggested" he wear the # because of DT.

Miller was impressive in all areas, but he is particularly dominant when rushing the passer. His play will remind some of Hall of Fame linebacker Derrick Thomas of the Chiefs, but Miller plays with more power and just as much speed.

In the long run it might hurt us, because it's a convenient excuse to bring Cassel back as the starter next year.

I think I read somewhere that is wasn't until college that he was compared to DT. He reviewed games by him and emulated him at that point. I would acknowledge him as a fan of DT if it didn't take a coach, that said he reminded him of DT (who also coached DT), for him to truly know who he was. He drew a comparison to him and became a fan. I see that as more a fan of the compliment than an actual fan of the player. He's a donk, F*** HIM!!

At the very least, it opened the door to see what we have without him for almost half a season.

I expect bad games, at least these will be bad games we won't have to watch Matt Cassel in.
