Hoover's topic gave me an idea...let's all pick the first play the Chiefs will run...

Of course it's easy to say run...but I don't think so...here's my guess...

Alexander, Lockett at WR...Gonzo and Drayton at TE...TRich in the backfield...run fake to TRich...Alexander and Lockett clear downfield Gonzo clears out his side and Drayton slips out after his slide block into the flat for about an 8 yard reception and then runs for another 6 or 7 yards...

Second choice...same package without Drayton, Bennett at FB...run fake...deep to Lockett on a fly....TD...hey, I can dream... [img]http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif[/img]

I hope you're right with your first prediction (although the second one would do too!). Everyone's expecting Elvis to go to Gonzo.........Drayton is bound to be open a good percentage of the time, and he is good enough to make the catches and open up the field for the others IMO.

Or, they could be really tricky and in the 2 TE set w/one WR, go play action bomb, overthrown to Alexander.

cormac, that's exactly the reason they should run a play like this often...EG needs to get some confidence in other recs and we all know that everyone and their mother's will be looking for EG to Gonzo...a play like this is exactly what Gun has been talking about and I think Drayton can find some opens seams more often then not...

Come on guys...confidence the JR learned something last year...seems to me we have more weapons to use this year if he will find a way to use them...
