In a 1-gap, there is typically 1-de playing the 5/4 -tech. While I'd like to see it upgraded, we could find a stop gap

He played OLB at Georgia, IIRC.

How basses has our defense been when they set Hali and Houston loose in the second half of 2011?

Cowher? How do you know he can recapture what he did in Pitt? You don't. You also don't know if he's truly committed to a pass-first offense.

My mom kissed his mom once.
True story.
My mom sat next oldlady Kiffin at the 1971 Game of the century in Oklahoma. Last offensive play of the game for OU was a interception in the endzone that sealed the game for NU. My mom leaned over & kissed Monte's mom on the cheek & said give that to Monte for me.

What the **** are you talking about? Cowher was successful with many totally different teams that he coached for Pittsburgh...he just did it in the same town.

How many players were on his first superbowl team that were still there for his last one?

Griese, Gradkowski, Simms, McCown, Jeff Garcia, and Brad JOhnson were the QBs Gruden had start for his teams.

WTF makes you think he's capable of running a quality offense or will draft a real QB? Funny that the Bucs finally did that when he got fired

Houston would be just fine at RDE...someone posted his sack numbers that came from standing up and in a 3 point stance and he had more in a 3pt.

If Gruden were to draft a qb, he would take Barkley. He is a WCO guy.

I wonder if kiffin would run the under. It's essentially what Gus Bradley runs in Seattle, and Bradley is a kiffin disciple.

If they run the under, that's an interesting scheme and kc almost has the personnel to run it.

IIRC, Lane is more offensive based, an Monte focused on D.
