I've gotta admit... while everyone seemed to love Dead Rising... I was pretty disappointed.

I tried to like it... still own it... but damn... I could never really get into it.

I loved Dead Rising. Left 4 Dead will be sweet. Haven't seen a whole lot on Dead Island to make me excited. Oh, and RE5 looks amazing.

I've seen some gameplay footage on the 'tube. But, I don't understand how it's going to work out via XBL. Is it just like, a free world? You just walk around and try to evade zombies?

For me, the true fun of Dead Rising was playing through the game the 2nd and 3rd time, because you can carry over your character from the previous playing through of the game, so by the time you're on the 3rd playthrough, your character is a certified badass destroying zombies left and right. It's almost too challenging on the first playthrough.

The real secret to the game is finding the books that extend the lives of weapons. I found 3 books that made it so I could use the small chainsaw an obscene number of times before it broke.
