I honestly don't know Guru. Why do people keep buying Madden, NBA, or MLB games year after year? I never said it was a smart purchase. And I was just giving Dunit a hard time. I didn't mean to offend people who are still playing last year's game.

I was only being facetious. Geez!!!

I do think they should only charge $40 for sports games new though. They don't exactly do much more than roster updates these days.

And I'm always that guy who feels inclined to buy the newer version of each sports game because of the updated rosters! The minor improvements all sports games make year after year don't really appeal to me, lol.

I went with the GOTY edition specifically to get the updates. Although, it's a little annoying that all the DLC only offers 250 points.

Like for Albert Pujols it says he is 216 MVP, they had a fix for it but for all league mvps, gold glove winners or anything like that it says 216 for the year 2008.

This is in franchise mode. Also you go in and will find some players already played 162 games. Shows some wacko stats.

Every once in awhile a player will come up and it will call him by a different player on a different team.

They are supposed to come out with their new fix soon but by then the season is half over so i went ahead and traded that game in and got 20 bucks out of it which i was glad i did.

I've noticed plenty of statistical bugs while playing franchise mode on MLB2k9. Apparently all of my players are on hitting streaks, lol.
