Could Justin Houston really break the sack record?

I mean, we play some really, really, REALLY bad teams folks.

Bills
Browns
Giants OL is shaky
Raiders twice
Chargers twice (and their OL is just bad)
Broncos lost Clady and we play them twice
Titans

All he needs is 16 more sacks in 13 games. What have you?

With Hali on one edge and Houston on the other, this pass rush is incredible. Oh yeah, almost forgot. "Dontario" Poe is beasting too, giving us push up the middle and someone the defense has to worry about as well. Then we have DJ in the middle of the defense, and he can really do it ALL. Cover, blitz, shut down the run. Seems we have solid role players in Devito, Jackson, and Jordan to round out an amazing front 7.

All of that with a pretty incredible secondary. Flowers and Berry are two of the best at their respective positions. Sean Smith is pretty good, Robinson is solid, and I still think Lewis is pretty decent. They're becoming arguably the best D in the league.

Another thing that makes my penis erect. Look at the ages of our staters on defense.

Justin Houston - 24
Tamba Hali - 29
Derrick Johnson - 30
Akeem Jordan - 28
Dontari Poe - 23
Mike DeVito - 29
Tyson Jackson - 27
Eric Berry - 24
Brandon Flowers - 27
Sean Smith - 28
Kendrick Lewis - 25

Average age of our defensive starters: just over 26 years old. We should have a good defense for a long time.

Jared Allen? Didn't he ride the bench for a year or so?

In looking at the stats, it appears that he made 10 starts his first year. I'm impressed. I didn't remember him starting that fast.

Hahahaha. No

If he can get north of 15, that's a hell of a season.

I am sitting here next to my Chargers fan buddy.

He is scared to death of this defense. And Justin Houston.

He quivers in fear as I write this.

Maybe he is finally getting coached up. His overall play will never justify his draft slot, but he is improving. He is turning my strong dislike into guarded optimism.
