He is Cassel without Harbaugh.

Is it compounded by the number of thousands of posts one has?

For example, does frazod have 82 times the anal leakage as those with 1,000?

It's just a chronic problem. 1000 posts on the Planet means you have it for the rest of your life.

Well, there you go. Should we sign Alex Smith for 0 draft picks, or spent the #1 overall on someone who might turn out to be Alex Smith?

ok

that's ridiculous

you can't watch Smith and Cassel play and determine Smith is Cassel without Harbaugh.

That's bullshit.

Smith reminds me of Trent Green. Maybe not as good, but I think that's his ceiling for his next team.

Surround him with a good line and good players and he can be a good QB. Surround him with shit? He'll be shit.

Harbaugh helped Smith regain his confidence...before his injury he was playing GOOD football.

I in no way, shape or form want Alex Smith but lets not pretend he's Matt Cassel. I want GSIII just as much as the next guy.

He reminds me a bit of Jeff George, who actually played some pretty impressive football at times in his career when he was surrounded with the right players and the right coaches.

Of course, that's no way to select a QB, so... yeah.

but if fans are really PINING for Alex Smith then why the **** did dipshit Pioli not just keep Orton?

Orton is probably the same ****ing guy as Alex Smith.

Alex Smith is actually a mobile QB, not a statue like Green, George, or Orton.
