**** OFFICIAL Chiefs vs Patriots MNF Thread ****

Here's a chance for these idiots to finally earn some respect.

Beat a good team with a good QB and I'll shut up for awhile, you know?

Go Chiefs?

But you can't properly deep throat Manning without simultaneously tearing down the Patriots, so whatever makes you happy.
Your personal narrative regarding Super Bowl XLLI is wrong, but reparable.

2007: Super Bowl XLII: It was over when......
Quote:
Eli Manning threw a 13-yard, go-ahead touchdown to Plaxico Burress with 35 seconds remaining in the game, completing a 12-play, 83-yard drive in which the Giants converted three third downs.
David Tyree made a couple of huge plays in the fourth quarter - In addition to a touchdown pass to Tyree in the fourth, Tyree made a leaping one-handed catch against his helmet for a 32-yard pass on a third and five when Eli managed to escape 'intense' pressure from NE. Four plays later, Plaxico Burress caught the winning touchdown.

The Patriots had one-last gasp, but Tom Brady's desperation pass on fourth down fell incomplete...Brady wilted under pressure the entire game...

New England Patriots at 00:35 left in the fourth quarter:

9-L.Tynes kicks 61 yards from NYG 30 to NE 9. 39-L.Maroney to NE 26 for 17 yards.

1-10-NE 26 (:29) (Shotgun) 12-T.Brady pass incomplete deep right to 10-J.Gaffney.

2-10-NE 26 (:25) (Shotgun) 12-T.Brady sacked at NE 16 for -10 yards (93-J.Alford).

Timeout #1 by NE at 00:19.

4-20-NE 16 (:10) (Shotgun) 12-T.Brady pass incomplete deep left to 81-R.Moss (28-G.Wilson).

New York Giants at 00:01 1-10-NE 16 (:01) 10-E.Manning kneels to NE 17 for -1 yards.

END OF GAME

GIANTS WIN SUPER BOWL XLLI

NE PATRIOTS ended the season at 18–1

@ Amnornix

SUPER BOWL XLVI NY Giants vs. NE Patriots

There was no bigger play than Eli's pass almost 40 yards to Manningham to complete Bradshaw's six-yard scoring run that provided the winning touchdown.

Those hits on Brady added up and once again Brady wilted under pressure.

I feel like the Chiefs should get at least a share of the Lombardi Trophy, right?

shit, I'm the one guy on this board who is always saying, "relax, it's the NFL...these games are never over until their over."

I said after the 1st half that this game was over. The Patriots were AMAZINGLY overmatched on both sides of the ball today.

That team wasn't ready for that environment...and there was nothing Tom Brady was going to be able to do today.

Today we were a better team.

The Patriots probably still end up winning their division.

Why?

Because Tom Brady.
Man. I'm just a huge Brady basher.
