We got him out of a trashcan for cheap, near the end of preseason, for a reason. Having dicks for hands generally is one of those reasons.

Reiter, a journeyman third string center wouldn’t even be in there if the Chiefs didn’t have a broke dick starting center.

He's the #3 corner.

You have a list of teams with better #3 corners than him? Sam Shields got his ass torched just about every time Mahomes got a clean look last night.

Scandrick is what he is - a serviceable nickel. Maybe 1/2 the 'serviceable nickels' in the league bring that ball in last night. Do I wish like hell he'd have done it - of course, but everything is relative in this league and most teams 3rd corners aren't quite able to bring that in; it usually looks exactly like that did.

Yeah, sitting here trying to get all tuned up about Scandrick... but it aint happening

He had a rough outing against a premier offense, shit happens when you're at where he is at career-wise... he has been a pretty good pickup overall, I'm not jumping down his throat for last night

If you don't want Scandrick, you can't have picks like KeiVarae Russell. Your 3rd round pick in his 3rd season is supposed to be able to go out there and play some credible Nickel for you. And he's supposed to be in his athletic prime and be able to stick better with guys like Reynolds or not get run off the field on crossing routes.

But sadly, Russell was ass. And in fairness, I was wrong as hell about him as well; I thought that was a nice pick when made (but I'm a ND fan so my miss was justified).

When your picks on the first 2 days don't pan out, you get to try to replace them with cheap available veterans. Sadly, when our pass rushers were running out of gas in the 4th quarter, I realized all too well that we're likely to find ourselves in a similar situation due to busted picks with K-Pass and Speaks over the next couple of seasons. Watching Scandrick go out there and rage against the dying of the light with what little remaining physical tools he has left was a sneak preview of our backup OLB situation next season.

You Speaks fans can have that guy. He sucks. In a year we're gonna be sitting here bitching about Junior Galette and wondering why he isn't as good as he was 4 years ago. Why? Because when K-Pass can't see the goddamn field in a game where he was desperately needed, we're pretty obviously going to need to sign someone like Galette next season to deal with that.

Very odd that you hate Speaks but like Tanoh. That guy has regressed and he wasnt good to begin with. I don't get your Speaks hate. He's applied some pressure and been around the ball when he had extended playing time.
