Sorry if it's a repost, but I'm seeing a lot of talk about this... thought we might centralize the discussion.

This makes me excited.

All i did yesterday was journey out to the NE and N Central parts of the map.

Getting access to locations so i can fast travel in those areas for later in the game.

So since I have all this brand new freedom, I have spent every waking hour on this game.

my character..from the start, i reduced all my attributes to see the total points available, then put them all into strength and endurance...and then scattered the rest among the leftovers.

I decided I was going to be evil after talking to burke at megaton, activated the bomb, figured everyone was going to die anyways so I killed the whole town. Went to tenpenny tower, blew up megaton, finished that quest, got my suite, waited til tenpenny was out sniping by himself and started a new quest. Seems Roy Phillips wanted to be let in to the tower, so I went to pay him a visit. Roy wanted me to open an access tunnel to set his feral ghouls on the population in the Tower, which I obliged, but I finished the quest back at tenpenny through conversations. Then I killed that sumbitch, and everyone in the tower, went back to Roy and opened the gates.

Then I was off to Greyditch, killed the ants, got the Fire Ant perk, then proceeded to own all the the DC wastelands, killing everything in site. Though I havent killed the citadel yet, waiting for a bit longer. Anyways, I go into the Museum of History, become a friend of the ghouls...which Roy gave me a ghoul mask for my troubles so now ALL ghouls and feral ghouls never attack me... completed the quest for Azkulaha by killing Greta and then gaining the contract for Charon. I left charon there and proceeded to start the other quest in search of the Family. Found the family, became a friend of thiers, gained vampirism, went back to the town the Family was protecting and killed them all.

Then I went to Republic of Dave, killed him and took his key, for a Mister Crowley quest in the Underground. He required four keys...so I found all four, head shotted all the key carriers, and then the game took a turn that I wasnt ready for. All this time, I would start a quest, do the objective, come back and finish the quest, then went on a murdering spree killing everyone...But in paradise falls...lol..i came across a slave trader, which I promptly bought a blond whore there for 1000 caps and she became my personal body guard lol. so now I have a ghoul bodyguard and a blond bodyguard. Then I also told a slave trader that I had a boy from greyditch looking for a home, so I sold this guy the boy, he gave me a collar to place around the boys neck and I was off to Greyditch. I found the boy, mezzed him with the gun, placed a collar around his neck, and told him to go to Paradise falls otherwise his head would explode lol. I then went to Rivet City, found Flak and did the same, followed by Big Town..right after rescuding Red from Germantown Police Headquarters, I made sure she got back to town then i attached the slave collar and killed everyone in town LOL.

Oh yeah, also, at Rivet city I found a quest to get the Declaration of Independence which I found in the archives, along with the bill of rights...finished that quest for big money and exp.

I've opened nearly 90% of the map...the only people that I have come across that I let live...are the kids from Little Lamplight ( which I rescued three more kids after sacking the town and freeing Red and Flak for more experience) THe Citadel that houses the Brotherhood of Steel, and then Rivet City.

As for the Main storyline, the guys father is at the Purity lab, west of Rivet City.

Oh yeah, and I am also a member of Reilys Rangers.

THis game is just too much fun....theres alot of replay value.

Its too damn fun to be this evil. The Mysterious Stranger perk and Mr Sandman are fun as hell. Nothing like a trenchcoated figure to show up in VATS and kill the target...or when ANYONE is sleeping and you can uh...make them a permanent resident of la la land.

MisterCrowley required four keys to get into Fort Constantine..an old military bunker. It wasnt until I got into there when I figured out whats going on.

Seems, that the Megaton bomb aint the only bomb in the game.

Now, theres also a missle silo there..

And there are also three huge satellite/radar compounds.

I'm wondering if Crowley is going to access this and blow up rivet city with a bomb...

BECAUSE...the quest that Crowley gave me was for four keys..which are needed to activate something. With that being said, the four people that had keys gave me caps if I lied that I didnt kill them..so I took their caps, killed them anyways...I go for maximum karma lowerage when I can...and returned the keys...but these four left crowley for dead amongst the ghouls and feral ghouls. Crowley didnt die, but I was his revenge.

I'm just wondering what the nuclear warheads, the missle silo, and the ability to position the radar dishes/satellites have to do with Crowley..

Yes there is. I'll probably play through it 3 or 4 more times over the next year.

I'm at level 13 right now and hope to reach 20 before Gears 2 this Thursday night.

Tennpenny tower is in the lower South West portion of the map
You will see if if you're in the general area, it's pretty tall.

What's you peoples' favorite weapon for normal fighting? I'm very fond of the combat shotgun.

Combat shotgun in the weapon of choice for me. Followed up by the Chinese assault rifle. I have the Bloody Mess perk though, so the shotgun makes for especially gruesome deaths. I had a sawed off, but it was a piece of shit and broke pretty quick.

I like shooting dogs and roaches with my .44 magnum.

I dont' like the sawed off because it's only got two shots... that sucks for fighting mutants.
