Isn't that where a parent should come in and help a kid make a decision, especially a parent that has a very good understanding of college recruiting and what it takes to make it as a pro?

With Kentucky after another 5* guard that will commit today, it has to make Booker wonder if he'd rather come to Mizzou and be the lead guard in a season or so.

That's who I was referring to.

By all accounts, Blackmon's a lock to UK. So unless Booker thinks Blackmon's a likely 1 and done (in Kentucky, he might be), I would think he would want to go to Mizzou and get PT for 2-3 years rather than potentially play behind Blackmon, or at least share significant minutes with him, for awhile.

Look at Selby. Think he would choose Kansas if he had it to do over?

No one is arguing that UK isn't a great basketball program. But Booker doesn't have the athleticism to be a one and done kid like so many other past UK 1st rounders. I don't think UK is a good choice for a kid that has talent but still needs some time to develop.
