Nope, still wrong.

Some teams stay committed to their brethren.

Others cut and run.

We are what we are.

The idea that the conference stabilized before Missouri left seems silly to me. Especially after watching that whole Boren press conference debacle.

Texas and Oklahoma leaving the Big 12 meant no Big 12. Or a Big 12 you didn't want to be a part of. It wasn't like Nebraska or Colorado leaving. We were talking about the viability of the the whole conference.

The tectonic plates were still shifting at the time and Texas and OU wanted out every single year since 2009.

There were no good reasons for Missouri not to pull the trigger.

UT/OU leaving the conference obviously would have killed it. Personally, I'd still like NU & MU in the conference....nobody really cared about CU leaving.

How long had MU been actively trying to get into the Big 10?

...or anybody else. Mizzou was able to control it's own destiny. It was really dicey for a while. After the B1G thing, when it looked like the Big XII was about to lose the TX and OK schools, the Big East looked like a real possibility.

Exactly. That is all I am saying. That whole mess with the PAC was absolutely on the table up until the time Missouri left. When us and the AGS left the conference got together and stabilized and did some things that needed to be done.

As far as your B10 question...I have no earthly idea. Do you?

About as long as we had been on the ass end of an unequal partnership.

I really didn't intend to open this can of worms. Don't get involved in any of this stuff anymore because I am just looking forward to the upcoming football season. I just thought it would be nice to show the information to the willfully ignorant Wickedson...who is..as always completely wrong about everything.

I agree it was unequal, but why wouldn't it be? UT spends more, and makes more, than any other team in the conference. Do you not think the big boys in every conference have more pull or more say so then the little guys?

I think it's fine to discuss if everyone can keep the stupid "We're better than you" mentality out of it....for both KU/MU....or until Wickedson comes back to the thread.

A primary source of a President directly involved in the whole process.

You said you had seen nothing but rumors.

I really am sorry you are not smart enough to understand the words you type or what they mean. Really...I am.
