Seriously, I was considering him very high in both of my fantasy drafts. Looks like a second round value pick now..

in the 3 games that Roaf was out AND LJ was our starting RB

85 carries 450yds 4TDs, 5.29ypc

over a season that would be

453 carries 2400yds 21TDs

Don't expect those numbers, but to say that he might not even reach 1000 is dumbassery at its finest.

I could be totally wrong, but with our offense being more run-oriented with our new HC, we might find that although VERY useful, Roaf might not be AS crucial to our puzzle as he was last year. If they do stack the line, Green is smart enough to take advantage of this on passing plays, even without Roaf.

Not to mention, the replacement will have the entire training camp and preseason to get in-sync with the line. I've heard from a lot of analysts the most important aspect of an O-line is to be one. When a person gets injured and is thrown into the mix without practicing a lot with that starting team, they lose that. I don't know how much of an improvement it would be, but we might find the person replacing them is sufficient provided enough time to learn the other players on the line...

I don't think we make the mistake of keeping Tony into block. If we have to because of the LT then it won't matter anyways. Without Tony running patterns we don't sniff the playoffs

Plus, this is why we have Jason Dunn. I know we like to run the 2TE set, but that's cause Tony has WR-like abilities, and Dunn, IMO is more of our TE than Tony is.

Tony is a WR who happens to line up where a TE would.
