Half these places don't even sell real ice cream.

Real ice cream has eggs in it.

And good luck getting something amazing like plum dark chocolate at a ****ing chain.

Idiot, that's why I picked Freddy's and Sheridan's. Custard has MORE egg than ice cream.

If you have evidence that either of them use fillers and texturizers, provide it.

I can walk to Ted Drewes. I know quality frozen dessert. Freddy's and Sheridan's is as good as you're gonna find in KC.

I say 'it's just ice cream' because, for the most part, with ice cream/custard, the simpler the better.

Probably my favorite ice cream out of any is Haagen Dazs' 5, coffee flavor.

It's; cream, milk, egg yolk, sugar, ground coffee bean. That's it, 'five' ingredients.

In general, though, I've had more trouble in recent years seeing the value in ice cream places. They're pretty darn expensive for a snack. I started holding off and just buying ice cream from the grocery store, where you could get a lot more for your money, but then I started figuring out that grocery ice cream is not always ice cream. What the heck is 'frozen dairy dessert'? That scares me. So I may have to start frequenting ice cream shops again.

You want good value without fillers, surprisingly Aldi's store brand is pretty tight.

And they've started producing a cheaper Ben&Jerry's alternative in pints.

Speaking of 'cold' 'stone' does KC have Thai table rolled ice creamery?

There's one on The Loop, but it's more show than taste. I mean, it's good, but most of the price is in the presentation.

That's what Freezing Moo is. It's the first one I have seen around. I think it's been just about a year since they first opened here.
