Do you return your shopping cart?

Last night at the grocery store I see a lady leave her shopping cart in the middle of the parking lot. The worst part about it is that there was literally 1 spot between her car and the cart corral. I was telling a guy at work this and he mentioned that he read that people who were successful in life return their carts. I looked for this article and nothing I found seems to be based on any data.

I figured that Chiefsplanet could provide some data.

Hell, I go so far to even fix the corral if carts are just all over the place inside it. I mean shit, how hard is it to push one into the other.

Judging by the number of loose carts I see in the parking lot every time I go to the store, we have some dishonest folks voting in the poll.

I bobsled that mfer as fast I can to the car, unload it, point it at the corral, get two good skate thrusts in and front kick launch it.
If I think I'm gonna hole it I spin my arm till it reaches home and fist pump when I score.
If I think I gonna miss, I'm in my car and on the move, before it crashes into someone's ride.

I return my cart every time. In Germany we have to put 1€ into the cart as deposit. I live in Swabia and we have the reputation that we are cheese-paring.

I've never heard of cart deposits. You people must live in unsavory areas with your Aldis and your Swabian versions of Aldis.

I usually lock my doors when I find that a wrong turn has led me to a middle class neighborhood.

That's because you cheese sparers will hoard them all up if you don't have skin in the game.

Other than the magnetic locks on my shopping carts that keep me from pushing them off site, my grocery store completely trusts me with shopping carts. I could even use two carts if I wanted. They've given me complete carte blanche.

I put my cart away.

Assholes leave it out so that it runs into cars in the parking lot.
