I've always hated the "they wanted it more" line... the Heat obviously learned a few things from last year and I'm sure the Thunder just learned a lot this year. Cuban shouldn't waste his time on ESPN's version of The View with that moron.

Heat installed as 11-to-4 favorites to win 2012-13 NBA title. Oklahoma City second choice at 5-1.

So it's now said that Perkins played with a partially torn groin the last 3 series. I appreciate him gutting it out espcecially against the Lakers where he was needed, but I'm pretty pissed that Brooks didn't limit his minutes those last 2 series. It was pretty obvious his play declined after that, and Brooks knowing that and STILL playing him twice as much as Collison is just bone headed and stubborn.

A HUGE thank you to all the HEAT fans out there. It wasn't always easy, it wasn't always pretty, but nothing compares to being called CHAMP!

Nobody that's actually watched the two play considerably over the last five years would make that argument. Kobe, in particular, has had a huge decline. The statistics available plainly support this point. Of course, LeBron is significantly better than both players and he's the guy we should really be celebrating.

Why is the newspaper headline arrogant? The Heat are going to reign as champions until a new champ is crowned next year.

That's the way it has always been.

A reign lasts for a lot longer than one year.

It's implied that the Heat are going to win several championships and reign over the NBA for several seasons, ala the Bulls.

Arrogance.

Dwight Howard did the same for Orlando. Nobody wants to go to Orlando if they have doubts Howard would stick around.

Kenton's biggest obstacle in Cleveland was himself. This finals, as I've said begrudgingly, was a whole new lebron. Its a shame it took sabotaging his whole reputation and throwing a good sports town under the bus to get there. But yeah, even if I hate the guy, kudos on him growing up.
LeBron learned from his past mistakes and faults to become a better player and person. I didn't used to like him much but he's clearly changed this season on the way to this championship. Losing to Dirk last season was probably the best thing that could have ever happened to him. It humbled him and allowed him to focus like he never had before. The fact that he was able to come through such adversity (some of which he created himself) makes the experience more gratifying.

Meh, you guys shouldn't take stuff so personally. There is no set timeframe for a reign as far as I know.

This makes the decision not to play Collison even worse.
