Draft pick, Smith, Stanzi(?) as your QB's in camp.

Actually a lot of Chiefs fans on other sites I go to are pretty open about not taking a QB #1. Far more than you see here anyways.

Most of them want to trade down more than take Joeckel though.

Why not give them a 6th rounder for Smith. If he plays 1/2 the plays, a 5th rounder. Starts a playoff game, a 4th rounder.

We draft the QOTF at #1.

We bring in a vet for training camp

We draft a long term project in the late rounds

We go to every flag football game in the are and bring in the best QB.

Throw them all in the mix and the best player plays.

Am I the only one that doesn't see this happening? When I see and think of Alex Smith I don't think of Andy Reid's type of guy. He's way too stiff of a player.

Teams will wait the 49ers out. 49ers are 3m over the cap as of right now no way in hell they keep Smith for 8.5m.
