Omaha area mall evacuated.... Again

Mall of the Bluffs evacuated; man with gun reported



Mall of the Bluffs is being evacuated after a report of man seen with a gun there.

Bluffs Police Sgt. Ray Mabbitt said officers are there but he had no further information. Trained police dogs from Omaha are enroute.

Parts of the mall have been evacuated, while others have been locked down.

The report came out about 12:45 p.m.

My Omaha friends take exception with the idea that the Mall of the BLUFFS is considered an "Omaha-area mall". They said they expect stuff like this in Council-tucky.

Yeah... Pretty much.

However, I will give C.B. one thing, when Omaha said no to casino's because we were too good for that, C.B. jumped up and said hell yeah.

That's why that town has been getting a serious overhaul the last few years and now it's not quite the dirty seedy city it once was.
