NFL Radio going ape over Herm Edwards
It seems that Vermeil made the comment that Herm should be coach of the year this year. All the new yawkers are taking this as a sure sign that Vermeil is retiring this year and Herm is coming to KC. It's funny, because the Jets folks pretty much view Herm leaving as the final total collapse of a franchise that was in the playoffs last year..

This whole thing is ridiculous. Edwards said he was coming back. The Jets said they weren't going to fire him. We can't actually negotiate with him. What the heck is this all about?

I really think this team could do MUCH worse than Herman Edwards - a coach that reached the playoffs 3 times in 4 years I believe.
