Scott Pioli's PFF rating

If you could give Scott Pioli a PFF rating, how would you go about it?

Since the NFL is a "what have you done for me lately" league, let's tally up the latest ratings of all the players he's drafted, or acquired in free agency.

If the player is no longer a Chief, or no longer in the NFL, we'll use their last known rating. Players with negligible snaps are excluded (Colin Brown, Quinten Lawrence, Jalil Brown, Cyrus Gray, etc).

Pioli Drafts

2009

Tyson Jackson: -2.5
Alex Magee: -5.2
Donald Washington: -7.7
Jake O'Connell: -5.2

Ryan Succop: 8.7

Dexter McCluster: -0.3
Javier Arenas: -0.5

Jon Asamoah: 9.6
Tony Moeaki: -5.7

2011

He's my favorite player. I think he'll be with a new coach.

I know this took a lot of work to put together, but I have trouble saying this is conclusive evidence that the guy sucks since a majority of players drafted don't end up doing much in the league. My hypothesis would be that most GMs have a negative rating on average, but I don't know that for sure. Would it be possible to find someone else to compare/contrast with?

(And if not, I completely understand. I can't imagine that was quick to put together.)

The conclusive evidence is in the record.

We're just burying the guy at this point.

Look at that list, though. The lack of impact players, and even contributors, is staggering.

What's very evident: Scott is pretty good at finding you an offensive lineman, and he sucks at everything else.

How frigging incompetent do you have to be to have this as your free agent class, and the following season you bench the only guy worth a shit?

Don't get me started on 2009. Jovan Belcher was the shining gem, and everyone else was worthless. EVERYONE.

And People here don't think Pioli had it out for Haley. LOOK at 2012 off season that is gold vs 2010 and 2011 off season.

I hate to break it to you, but the 2012 offseason was shit, too.

By season's end, Abram Elam will be red with the rest of those guys. Kevin Boss is green, but hurt, as he's always been.

Eric Winston was a FA a 12-year old could have identified as a stud.

**** Nate Eachus.

Corey Mays makes me laugh

he PLAYED on this team at one point. Pioli thought he was good enough to start. Over Derrick Johnson. Think about that

People will say Haley had a hand in that, but whatever.

Pioli, Haley, it doesn't matter. Incompetence, everywhere. We've been wading through it up to our waists for four seasons now.

There is no defense for these morons.

Corey Mays came from New England practically in Piolis suitcase. He like many other turds on this team over the years where his New England garbage cast offs.

I am actually surprised guys like Travis Daniels, Copper lasted as long as they did. Well I guess when Jake O Connell is still on the 53 man roster 4 years in, anyone turd can make Piolis team as long as you dont have actual playmaking talent
