**2016 Sporting Kansas City / General Soccer Thread**
Because everyone loves it...preseason is a few weeks away and the start of the MLS season is not long at all in Seattle.

Should be another very strong year with a run at multiple cups with a bit of injury luck.

It was a weak year in the draft it was very apparent when Peter Vermes who has done as good of job of building through the draft as anyone passed on picking anyone that day and traded the pick for allocation money...and I think an allocation order swap.

Very much regretting spending the money to come to this shit show. These SKC pussies are, simply put, in the wrong league. They suck compared to the people who get on the pitch to play. And PV's antics aren't enough anymore. Not a single one of out players are playing better than their counterpart. And whatever PV is trying to do with set plays isn't working. These lesser-skilled **** wads need to just keep putting the ball in the area and pray it bounces in.

Right now this team isn't worth the price of admission. Lesson learned.

Welp, home and not feeling much better about the game.. I can't remember a time when what concerned me was this much is the cash I put into an event where my players were this out-classed. I'm sure folks will default to any number of reasons and excuses, but after the last 6 games it's clear PV isn't doing his job.

While SKC likes to run set plays, it's clear they either no longer have the talent to execute them, or every other team has their scheme very figured out. It's time these clowns put the ball in the box and simply hope for a lucky rebound.

And while it was wonder being with my two boys and two of their friends, it's clear that I should have forgone the cost of 5 tix and stayed home to watch the Blues play.

As for three of these clowns being named to the National team.... WHAT THE ****???? PV should fight that.. They need to stay here and get better while other players accept that honor. And the National team deserves better. JFC.

But seriously, the front office needs to have a sit-down with PV and explain how life works. The bottom line is it's up to him to put a spark in the ass of these professionals. I'm sure it was as evident on TV as it was for us, if not more, that lazy play was a huge factor in last night's loss.

PV and the front office can't play the game, but they sure can decide who's out there. And right now I'd take desire with a little less skill over these hacks who's desire is obviously missing. And crushing one 30 feet over the goal isn't desire, at best it frustration, at worse it's diminished skill.

So we're losing some players to the National team, but I think they should ask the National team to rethink that (based on these guys not playing well at the moment), and minimally sit them for the next 3 Sporting games they're dressed-out for.

But I sure wish people cared enough to not pander to them with blind loyalty (like I did last night [and now regret]) and actually let them play a sparsely attended home game. THAT will get the front office's attention, and perhaps that meeting where they give PV a few choices to pick from - but the status quo isn't one. They guys are playing lazy, and he shouldn't leave the room until he admits it...
