... Pomegranates?

Mmmm...Just ate the last one I had bought for Monday night. They ain't cheap here in the midwest.

It's a red fruit about the size of a large apple. Red and leathery on the outside. But cut one up and it looks like a jewel box full of shiny rubies. Lovely to look at and extremely juicy.

Sumertime peaches are the perfect fruit. Followed closely by bannanas and pears.
