Ice maker danger!!!
Holy crap, I just burnt/froze my fingers. I was messing with the ice maker in our freezer because it seems to be froze up. I thought I'd manually jar it loose and started putting my fingers all up in the mechanics of the thing (mind you, I'm a little buzzed right now), and I just gave myself 2nd degree burns on my finger tips.

WTF is this nefarious, dangerous part that nestles within my beautiful ice maker?

Seriously, what is it?

Heat coil. It Heats the ice up so it'll be able to drop out without sticking to the icemaker.
