huh? Kansas has a title and multiple Final Fours in the last 5 years. The thought that KU Basketball and Nebraska Football are comparable is a joke.

Sure Nebraska has historical significance but so do Fordham and Army. I wish the Huskers the best but they are a shell of what they used to be.

Then I remembered at irrelevant places like Kansas that would be good enough to have a statue built.
Magino won a BCS bowl and put up the most points ever scored against Nebraska in a single game. Pelini has done no such thing.

I don't see any statues of Mangino on KU's campus.

That is a HUGE stretch. Army was good before I was born (1972) and Fordham dropped football before my uncle was born. Nebraska has been a powerhouse up until the mid to late 2000's.

It's absolutely a joke. Nebraska has four national titles in the last decade. They measure themselves in national titles. KU measures conference titles.

I don't remember Nebraska EVER celebrating a conference championship.

Nebraska was a dynasty. Alabama is the new dynasty. Jim Calhoun has as many titles as Kansas.

The B1G wanted Nebraska for its huge population, great academics, and its basketball team.

Why didn't KU get an invite?

Nebraska has zero titles the past 15 years, and 3 before that not 4. I think that's what you meant to type. Plus no hope in the near term either. Basically another Tennessee. Who's won a more recent title but fallen a bit.

Nebraskas last title was split with Michigan too. They don't do that in hoops as you might know. Their first one was in 1994 was voted on anyway, as Penn State also went undefeated. 1 no doubter, or same as KU in that time.

Regardless no KU fan would switch places. We feel sorry for them now.

Keep telling yourself that, Colley Matrix. I have no love for either school, but Nebraska's accomplishments in the past two decades dwarf everything Kansas has done ever.

I was holding ou hope for a KSU-ND matchup. K-State could have taken the Teos.

That's a strange statement for him to make. Everyone knows that conferences are judged by how good the teams that are near (but not at) the bottom of your league are.
