At one point during the interview Reid pulled a Snickers from his pocket, ate it, dropped wrapper on the ground & winked at Pioli. #Chiefs

For all the bitches that are saying Reid's last 2 seasons are what to judge him off of, like Bob Fescoe. I'm going to drop some knowledge on ya.

Marty Schottenheimer:
Last year 7-9 (not 4-12 but still losing record)
Washington first year: 8-8 Fired after one year raw deal
San Diego: First year 8-8 Second year 4-12 (first pick overall = Eli Manning/Philip Rivers) Next three seasons ----> 12-4, 9-7, and 14-2

We'd all take Marty as GM in a heartbeat, even though he couldn't win the big one. You want to complain about 2 out of 14 years just because they're the last two he had? When a coach and a quarterback come together to form a harmonious marriage of awesome, you see what happens. This is the 2013 Chiefs and beyond, so shove your worries where the sun don't shine and save your trolling and bitching for forums that give a shit.

How does this compare with Andy Reid you ask? Let me tell ya!

1999: Andy Reid first year in PHI drafts McNabb and goes 5-11
Since then ----> 11-5 11-5 12-4 12-4 13-3
And even then 6-10 (McNabb injured on 11-15 that year and was on IR the rest of the year) 10-6 Playoff loss to NO, 8-8, 9-6 (Lost to an unlikely AZ in the Championship game/ Last year in the full on McNabb era), 11-5 (Donovan and Kolb craziness; McNabb's last season in PHI)Wild Card Loss, 10-6 (Vick/Kolb) Wild Card Loss, then 8-8 (Vick) and 4-12 (Vick/Foles).

His entire stint in PHI screams with a great quarterback he'll bring us a winner. When McNabb did well, Andy did well, when Kolb did well, Andy did well, when Vick did well, Andy did well, when Vick regressed, Andy takes the fall? Not in my book. The only thing I blame Reid for is tieing his horse to Vick. Can't get around that judgement, but it worked for him for two seasons before Vick fell apart.

This marks two straight times where Clark has made the BIG hire. Pioli was a BIG hire, even the guys who didn't like him can agree with that.

Clark must be pretty good at convincing people to come to KC...he must be doing SOMETHING right in these interviews.

Not trying to bring any negativity because I'm very excited about Reid and all of his crew coming to KC. Hopefully Geno really emerges as the #1 QB and we don't fool around and take him. Wouldn't mind signing a veteran to compete with Geno in camp, either. I know Hasselbeck said he'd like to be Locker's backup for another year but I think he'd be a great fit as the #1 guy for someone like Geno...and if Geno impresses early on he could even be the day 1 starter.
I said it a month or two ago.

This Hire defines clark.

Clark's new legacy: He ALWAYS gets his man.
