GTA 5 vanishing car glitch fix incoming, Rockstar advises against garage use
Grand Theft Auto 5 has encountered a strange glitch that has seen cars stowed in garages disappear for some players. Rockstar has advised that a fix is on the way.




Rockstar discussed the issue over on its forum, and stated, “We have received some reports about problems with cars and garages, particularly after upgrading and then completing a mission, and are looking into this now.

“Unfortunately, we do not currently have a workaround to recover a car if it is missing. If you would like to receive an automatic email notification as soon as there is more information, please log into the Support Site and click Subscribe at the top of this page. Also please note that vehicles saved in the garage of one safehouse may not show up in the garage of a different safehouse.”

The post added, “This issue may occur if you drive another character’s personal vehicle. We are looking into a fix to prevent this from occurring in the future.”

Have you encountered this issue so far? We’ll update you once a fix is made available.

So I'm at a frustrating point where I feel like I've missed something.

I'm about 30% in, according to my saves. But I'm not getting "real" missions for the guys anymore. I've been relegated to the "Freaks and Strangers" missions with nothing new coming up.

Last real mission I remember is doing recon for the secret stashed at the port. Stole the submarine, and made sure Michael completed flight school - and haven't heard anything since.

Sad part is, I bought it at gamestop and they offered me a protection plan. Which i declined~


My plan right now (after cleaning and cleaning to no avail) is to borro w afriends copy, install it on my HDD and just use my disc as the authenticator.

i remember it taking a while for that heist to engage. I was doing bureau missions while i waited.

I've done several FIB missions.

I'm thinking I've missed something. I just found something on the map listed "CargoBob" that I didn't see before. Looks like it's around the Military Base.

Maybe the cargo plane that was just mentioned?

have read they do, but took it to my local Hastings and the guys there said there machine wouldn't fix it. I was willing to try anyways but it wasn't working, and have not yet found another place who does it.
