*** 2016 Prospect Tracker: Chiefs Interest / Visits / Work Outs ***

Well, this thread was delayed a few weeks this year, due to our unlikely playoff run. And thank goodness for that.

But here we are again - 5th year in a row tracking the college players the Chiefs have publicly or privately expressed interest in leading up to the 2016 NFL Draft.

Here's how we did last year.

For those who are new, the way this operates is that we collectively monitor various social media sources, blogs, articles and reports for news of the Chiefs' interest in a certain player. When posted in this thread, I will update the OP to include the player. *Please provide the link to the article, the players name, position and team.

I am going to try to link to player profiles when they exist, courtesy of draftbreakdown.com. For some of the lesser-known guys, it may just be a random video or profile from their team website.

Let's meet some of our future Chiefs:

"former NFL scouts Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks compared the wide receiver to the New York Jets' Eric Decker and former Tennessee Titans WR Drew Bennett."

They forgot Ed McCaffrey and Tim Dwight.

Add Bowling Green WR Ryan Burbring. Probably a UDFA, but you never know...

Temple wide receiver Robby Anderson visited Packers, Browns, Bengals, Chiefs, Raiders

Temple wide receiver Robby Anderson visited the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders, according to a league source.

The 6-3, 190-pound wide receiver ran the 40-yard dash in 4.28 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout and has had several private workouts.

He was an all-conference selection last season and caught a career-high 70 passes for 939 yards. He was selected to play in the East-West Shrine all-star game.

Anderson had over 1,900 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns for his career at Plantation High School in Davie, Fla., where he played receiver and defensive back. He had 42 catches for 545 yards and six touchdowns as a senior and also lettered in track.

------------------------

Looks like a Priority Free Agent. 16 TD's in two seasons. Also played Cornerback.

Okay, the list is up to date.

Looks like we have 57 names on the list; we had about 25 more names around this time last year, so either we're missing some, or they've been more quiet, or maybe we're deeper this year and the talent pool is smaller, resulting in less interest/visits.

If you're comfortable running through your sources one last time before tomorrow night to see if there's any missing names, let me know and I'll get them added in.

Great work, fellas!

The Cardinals and Chiefs also paid special attention to Burns after his Pro Day workout. The Chiefs, in particular, asked Burns questions and had him take a test.
