Elijah Johnson was listed as well, but I have to expect this was after he left KU, which I think was in 2013

Names of the schools and players are coming out. 20 division 1 schools. Duke, Kentucky Michigan State etc. even WSU but, I don’t see KU’s name yet.
The documents tie some of the biggest names and programs in the sport to activity that appears to violate the NCAA’s amateurism rules. This could end up casting a pall over the NCAA tournament because of eligibility issues. (NCAA officials declined a request for comment.) There’s potential impermissible benefits and preferential treatment for players and families of players at Duke, North Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, Michigan State, USC, Alabama and a host of other schools. The documents link some of the sport’s biggest current stars – Michigan State’s*Miles Bridges, Alabama’s Collin Sexton and Duke’s Wendell Carter – to specific potential extra benefits for either the athletes or their family members. The amounts tied to players in the case range from basic meals to tens of thousands of dollars.

UNC basically just had easy classes, on purpose, so their athletes could get an easy A. There are tons of classes EVERYWHERE like that.

That was one sweet deal they got. $1,000 for a player who ends up like Van Vleet is a damn good investment!

KU is in the clear so far. EJ was after he graduated and Apples got a loan before Josh ever committed to KU. That could be a loan for any of the players on her AAU team, of which there are many. The clearinghouse cleared JJ and therefore everything before that is their responsibility.

I doubt schools like Duke, UNC, Kansas and Kentucky have to pay kids $100,000 to come to school. I think you'll find that while kids at all schools are taking some loans from agents & shoe companies, the coaches at blue bloods aren't facilitating these payments. And any payments to kids at those schools appear to be much more minor compared to the Auburns, Mississippi State, Arizona's of the world who are actually paying players a fee to come play for them.
