Donovan McNabb Says Stafford Hasn't Earned His Contract

Looks like McNabb is butthurt over Matt Stafford's contract.

Shut up McNabb you haven't earned your microphone.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-his-contract/

"For the second time this offseason, former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb has weighed in on a current NFL quarterback’s contract. And for the second time, McNabb has expressed his disapproval.

In March, McNabb said Tony Romo isn’t worth the money the Cowboys have agreed to pay him. Now McNabb has weighed in on Matthew Stafford’s new contract with the Lions, and once again McNabb believes the team is overpaying."

You have this completely backwards. Short contracts with a ton of guaranteed money are impossible to get out of.

You think that it's easier to cut a guy and have to eat a $30,000,000 cap hit just to save $5,000,000 in salary than it is to cut a guy who has a back-loaded deal and less guaranteed money (small cap hit)? That's insane.

Alex Smith Homer Deluxe has declared that Alex Smith is a better QB than Matt Stafford.

God, I hope you get struck by lightning.

actually, I have a ton of ground to stand on.

You have to factor in a lot of factors. One, the 49ers rarely trail in the 4th quarter. the 49ers always win the field position battle, the 49ers under alex smith had the number one rushing attack in football. There is a reason the 49ers defense was so much better under alex smith, than Kaepernick. The 49ers under alex smith were mythodical chain movers. Kaepernicks 49ers were more up tempo, which exposed our defense more.

I have a TON of ground to stand on. I don't mind having these little sissy girl slap fights with you on the boards, but if you want to get real about the situation, just let me know. There are TONS of factors why alex smith only averaged about 170 yards passing in 2011. Just continue on ****ing with the non 49er fans who didn't watch every single down in 2011.

Boy, ill bury you on this board lol.

Well, frankly he doesn't have to be in that type of offense. Same with flacco. They're guys who really aren't very accurate and would be shot in a timing wco.

But if you throw it deep the way they do, you don't really have to be efficient

Not really its a short deal and it has been reported that that is surprising. He was in line for an 8+ year deal dude.

I don't give a shit what Chiefs fans think of that.

That is how much I hate you, Alex Smith Fan.

Actually, Yes, Alex Smith, in a Jim Harbaugh offense, is much better than the sometimes wildly inaccurate and gunslinger type that is Matt Stafford. It takes a lot of discipline, to read a defense and decide that a run is better than a pass. It takes a lot of discipline to decide when not to throw a pass, and by the way. He wouldn't of had CALVIN JOHNSON to throw to.

is he more talented that Alex Smith, and this is the point I have tried to get across to you, and it just wont stick with you. A lot of qbs problems, are when they try to do too much, and end up with a crap load of turnovers and cost their teams. Especially when they have BAD DEFENSES, that aren't capable of rescuing them. IE the lions, Ie the chiefs last year.

You are such a little fish in a huge pond when it comes to actual knowledge. You have a very myopic view of football, and the nuances that go with it.

You always talk about this 49ers defense, but never in your tiny little mind, wonder why, and how they were that good. They just were.

The 49ers constantly won the time of possession battle, the turnover battle, and the field position battle. That's why the 49ers had a top 5 defense.

And alex smith, and their time eating, methodical offense, was part of that.

Alex Smiths efficiency on first down throws, having a rating of 112, was better than any qb in football. His penchance for taking care of the football and being risk adverse, taking a sack instead of a wild pick, (which Stafford is well known for) is a reason that the 49ers defense was so good. Also you dope, when you have the lead in the 4th quarter, you can run out the clock with your run game, and don't have to throw the ball.

These are just the bare minimums of WHY the 49ers were successful in 2011. I don't expect you to understand. Hell you are probably brain cramping right now at this. And your response will be typical gibberish. Duhhhh they didn't throw the ball because alex smiff sucks.

Which I wont sit here and say he is the greatest qb ever, or even great. But hes not nearly as shitty as you want people to believe, and your explanation for why he is, is always wrong and off base.

That's not what you said asshat and you have no way of knowing that.

I tell you what I bet you KC wins more games than SF this season.

What you want to bet? I will make it realistic like a new Chippendale blowup doll for you or a subscription to Playboy for me.

What you say?

GMAFB.....

You were already rooting for this entire thing to blow up, so you didn't get caught in another Matt Cassel incident. Get over it. everyone understood why, now you just stated the obvious lol.

No one cares clay. No one does really. Come opening day, all the alex smith haters, all the alex smith lovers, all the chiefs fans will be pulling the same way. for the chiefs to win, and alex smith to succeed.

Even you. And if not, you are going to have a miserable ****ing season.

and furthermore. To show you just how full of shit you are. Look at my sig. that's the bet YOU WANTED. You already betted that alex smith was going to fail. So don't come with this, NOW I HOPE HE FAILS bullshit.
