I had no idea that lag was such an issue. However, it makes sense now...

I mean sometimes I'll throw a 1/2 clip into someone and the next thing I know, He's stanging 20 feet to my left unloading on my ass.

I had some really bad lag last night. It became unplayable. Hopefully this upcoming patch makes a difference.

I had it lag last night too. However, it was in my favor. No one could keep up with me. I scored over 2500 on 3 games in a row, which is unheard of with my style of play. On good days, I average 1100 per game on Deathmatch or Kill Conf. I don't die a lot though, (usually) which is the upside.

Why have any lag compensation? Wouldn't a better approach be to pair up players with similar connection speeds? I think I'm going to work at my BF3 skills until it gets fixed.

of course that would be better, but right now the game is basically unplayable. Honestly, I don't even know how I can manage a 1.08 K/D because I have this lag compensation crap every single game. Until or if they patch it, slowing down my internet is my only chance at playing this game.

I have been wondering why I have doing worse. Sped up the connection. Now it seems everyone I aim at moves faster or ports around corners. Well that and prestiging.

I kept my msr sniper, probably should of chose something else like the stinger since I primaraly use ar's and there are so many good ones.

Basically I am seeing more people magically appearing on my screen killing me. But when I watch their killcam, they were slowly prodding along. They need that shit fixed.

Also, would anyone else like a pro perk that disables a their killcam when you shoot them?

Either way, it's not working very well. I have 15down/1.5up and am not doing well with lag in this game.
I don't think it's so much about bandwidth as it is about your latency to the server. You're not sending/receiving copious amounts of data when playing online. Bandwidth only really matters if you have a bunch of downloads going on your PC and trying to play at the same time.

He's definitely found a good camping spot. Game is tied 0-0, me and Sofa have been running around this map for over a day now looking for him.

He probably lagged out or something.

Watching the lag compensation vid, it makes a lot of sense now. Hope they patch it before Christmas, but they probably won't.
