2010 Draft

Do you believe that KC will draft a NT with the 1st overall pick ,and dumping Dorsey in the process if the target BPA is a NT when the pick comes ?

I personally believe it's good chance that this will transpire.

next years first will likely go to either the offensive or defensive line. The oline has some elderly folk all around and it is highly unlikely all the positions on the dline will be sewn up by years end, solidly anyway.

I still wonder if NE will make another deal with us next year. Seymour and Wilfork are on contract years and they both have replacements in line.

RT. Maybe guard.

I expect us to be picking the top 10, so there should be some decent options available. We could also think about finding Tony G's replacement.

Dorsey is still lining up at DE, right? I could see Terrence Cody being a viable pick up for us. I'm also curious to see how Tebow adapts to a pro system offense this year.

Heres to hoping Cottam makes it and that isnt an option.

I hope your joking about a Guard in the top ten, and by Tony G's replacement you better not mean TE.

I disagree. Next year should be a great defensive class.

Well considering that if we're drafting in the top 10 that pendergast will be gone and we likely won't be run 3-4...why would we draft a NT? if we draft DL we'll draft a DE. That's FAR more in demand.

We took a DE this year, I don't see us taking 3-4 DE 2 years in a row. If we go defense it'll be a safety or a pass rusher IMO.

It's the most valued position the 3-4 defense without the opposition will absolutely demolish said defense.

Eh, there's a lot of time for guys to step up between now & then. Stock rises & falls drastically around the combine & whatnot. The draft that Santonio Holmes was picked in was a weak WR class, but a few good WRs came from that class (Holmes, Greg Jennings, our favorite nutjob Brandon Marshall).

Either way, I expect us to adress LB, WR & DT early in the draft next year, barring any FA signings that would eliminate the need to draft or guys stepping up in '09.

We aren't running the 3-4 because of Pendegrast, we are running it because of Haley and Pioli.

Are you a fan of Arellious Benn? Cause he's gonna be the 1st WR picked next year.
