He is an exciting fighter to watch but he's a real ****in headcase, I hate hearing how he's cleaned his life up blah blah blah just for him to go out and get a DUI

To go out and do what he does in the Octagon you pretty much have to be jacked up in the head. He just pretty much stands right in front of the other dude throws bombs and takes bombs.

I still have a bad impression of him from his days on the TUF show. I'm sure he's grown up since then but he was a total ****stick then.

Yeah, it took me awhile to get over that impression as well. Koschek is the same way, he was a complete douche then and played the part for the GSP fight.

Another reason I like Leben. Anybody, anywhere, anytime....

As UFC President Dana White scrambled to find a replacement to step in and fight Rashad Evans in the UFC 133 main event, he heard from two volunteers: Chael Sonnen and Chris Leben.

White said on Thursday that after Phil Davis dropped out of the fight with Evans, he got texts from both Sonnen and Leben asking if they could step in. But White never seriously considered putting either one of them in the cage with Evans, since Evans is a light heavyweight and Sonnen and Leben are middleweights.

"Both said they wanted the fight. I told them both they weigh 185 pounds but thanks for texting," White said.

White said that the fighter who ended up taking the Evans fight, Tito Ortiz, was the UFC's first choice to fill in for the UFC 133 main event, but that it took some time to get Ortiz to accept. The other fighter White contacted, Lyoto Machida, initially expressed interest but later said he wanted more money to take a fight on short notice.

Leben and Sonnen were the only two fighters who approached White about fighting Evans.

"Those were the only two," White said. "Two 185-pounders did it."

White said he wasn't sure what he would have done if Ortiz had turned down the fight, but one thing he never considered was dipping into the Strikeforce roster to find a light heavyweight replacement. And White hinted that he doesn't think the Strikeforce light heavyweight division is good enough to produce a legitimate opponent for Evans.

"That never crossed my mind," White said. "At 205 in Strikeforce, who would I grab who could come in and fight Rashad Evans?"

He just can't help himself, they own the thing for ****s sake and he still has to run it down. But he is correct, Hendo is the only true threat at 205 in Strikeforce and then a huge drop off to Mike Kyle or some other second tier guy.

Dana White dumped Overeem from the heavyweight tournament because he refused to fight in September. I don't know why Overeem wouldn't fight but man that guys act gets old, Dana is a dick but Overeem needs to fight unless he has a serious injury.

Yeah, that HW tournament is falling apart at the seems.

If you go six months at a time between tournament shows people lose interest. I guess Overeem has a toe injury which could definitely harm his ability to train but I can't say how serious.

I thought I read something about him going on vacation as well and not having enough time to train after that. I would still like to see a few of those HW's competing in the UFC still. Silva, Fedor, and Barnett could all still put on solid fights on PPV's.

Yeah, now Cormier is taking Overeems place, he will fight Silva in September
