You're right. Can you imagine his 2012 numbers in a full season? 3,000+ yards, 70% completion, 100+ rating, 20+ touchdowns, and less than 10 interceptions.

M-V-P like numbers!

We got a good one!

Well for the Chiefs he is going to throw more(I assume). So 4,000+ with the other numbers likely the same next year for us! Good right?

Two winning seasons out of seven. Two head coaches fired. One 3000 yard season. Lost his starting job how many times? Tell me again why this is a good move?

His kicker David Akers also set their club single season record in scoring during Smith's "magical" 2011 season.

NO 1.5 winning seasons.

5 coaches fired

Benched for 8 different backups =not even starter caliber QB's

They kept trying to play him and justify because he was a #1 overall draft pick that they wasted 60MILLION on ... 49ers kept trying to get a Return On Investment and it never happened, so when he got concussed they took the easy train out and started Kaepernick...

Welcome Kansas Shitty....

And the D was ranked #1 in almost all categories. Holding opposing teams to under 24 points a game...any more than 24 points and this dude crumbles...Not a high scoring passer, just a checkdown marvel..

There is no proof whatsoever that he is capable of that.

Except in the playoffs.

Everyone's been throwing out this 24 points stat, like only a sucky QB would lose so much when getting scored 24 or more points on. I'd like to know what the league average wins v. Losses when the opponents score 24 or more. I'll Bet almost everyone loses more than they win those games.

just for the record

if Clay wanted to, he could go find probably 20+ plays and make .gifs to make it look like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady were Matt Cassel-esque

It's true but they have won a Super Bowl. OH soo you're comparing Alex Smith to 2 HoF. I now see the depth of your stupidity. It runs deeper than a black hole. What a tool you are. Like any sane person would ever think those 2 QBs are like Cassel. GTFO now! AND . Leave this thread for the intelligent people not you blowhard, take it in the ass loving ninnies.
