So, no one likes "big" government (I mean, really...given a 'choice')...yet at LEAST 1 in 3 (to be CONSERVATIVE; more like 1 in 2) bankruptcies in the U.S. are the result of medical bills/related expenses.

How do you REALLY feel about this???

This will end up in the DC forum I'm sure, but my 2¢ say it's time for a f*cking change. Aspirin shouldn't cost $50 each in the hospital just because thats what they can charge the insurance companies and get away with it. This medical shit is out of control, but equals parts shitty government, the insurance industry, the medical field, and ignorant f*cking redneck Americans who are convinced their gun and PBR are all they really need. They're denying more claims than they should, and opting not to cover anyone who actually poses a risk of costing them anything. Basically, if you actually need health care and they have a choice, you won't get it. And you will be buried in medical bills. Basically, they're only in it to f*ck you. They'll make a profit off you, even if you have to die in the process.

This country parades a storm of ideals and moral high ground, then f*cks each other over repeatedly for self gain. There's no fellow man, that's a customer, or something to stick their dick in...or both.

If you want to continue with this arrangement, I don't know what to tell you, because you can't hear reason or logic.

I wonder what you're going to come up with to fix the problem that most of these bankruptcies you speak of happened because people missed work because of an illness. Government health care and beating on insurance companies isn't going to get people paid for time they didn't work.
