We'll see plenty of 3 and 4 WR sets anyway...can't have enough DBs in this league, period.
arenas was not terrible last year - i think he is a 4th CB and rushes from the edge...

No, I'm quoting them because they know football. I'm trying to point out to you that you are actually not in the majority in your thinking. Also, you talk as if the FO can't draft a QB to develop. Look at the draft history of the guys running the show. They like to draft QB's. If there is one that they think is available in the first round over the next year or two, and they can get him, they will.

You are pissed at how the organization was run for the last 40 years. I get that. Me too. I'm not going to hold that against this regime however. They deserve a shot. The draft hasn't even happened yet, they haven't played a single game yet, and you are blasting them. I'm simply willing to give them a shot and see what they can do.

My tailgating buddies you mentioned hated the Pioli hiring at the time, stating it was all Belichick, and I disagreed with them. I was wrong.

I'm simply thinking that our fans need to not use the history of the last 40 years to define this regime, when they have only been in charge for 2 months and haven't even had a draft yet. To this point, they are doing everything possible to improve this team by filling holes left by Pioli.

I still see them drafting an OT regardless if they stay at 1 or move down.

I think Abdullah is actually going to be pretty damn good.

You're better with Abdulla at free, Robinson at Nickel and Arenas at Dime/Punt returner than you are with Abdullah marginalized.
