go and drink a glass of water with some epsom salt in it. shit will clear you out faster than a bowl of blueberries. most of the time its dehydration. with all the sodium and soda in your diet it would surprise me if you're not dehydrated.

If probiotics really replaced all the natural bacteria in the gut, it would leave you dead. Not to mention the fact that it would be impossible to even do. There are 10^10 trillion or so microorganisms in your gut flora. To think you could replace them all is absurd. To even say taking probiotics could have a dramatic affect on complex gut flora is itself silly and unproven. Probiotics have yet to show any conclusive scientific evidence for any health benefits.

Is it greenish when you do go? It sounds like a (partial) bowel obstruction. Go on a liquid diet for a couple of days (broth, hot liquids, etc.) and see if it clears up. If not, see a doctor. If left unattended, a bowel obstruction can cause that section of the intestinal track to "die". I had an obstruction a couple years ago...not fun.

Hoo boy. I feel like a million bucks right now. Not a clean breaker or anything, but I probably lost 10 pounds. The pain in my stomach is all but gone. Having a little cramping, (probably from the Senna). But that really is a small price to pay.
