Despite Robinson's athletic prowess, his ability to take advantage of those gifts, or to stay out of trouble, short-circuited his career in Gainesville. He was suspended four times with the Gators (twice in 2013), including once late in the 2015 season, to go along with two benchings in his final year on campus. The nephew of former South Carolina and NFL receiver Marcus Robinson, Demarcus was a major recruiting coup for the Gators as an all-state pick from Georgia. He played in only seven games as a freshman, though, due to two suspensions (5-23 receiving). Robinson took a step forward as a sophomore, catching 53 passes for 810 yards and seven touchdowns. His statistics dropped in 2015, however, as he played 13 games but could only manage 522 yards and two scores on 48 receptions as the Gators' offense struggled all season long.

ANALYSIS
Strengths
Talent jumps off the tape early in the session. Electric vertical talent that can make cornerbacks re*think their coverage plans. Has shake at the line of scrimmage to free himself against press coverage and has adequate ball tracking skills. Graceful, flexible athlete with instant turbo acceleration. Has ability to hit the home run after the catch. Races off the line and forced cornerbacks into retreat opening easy comeback catches. Has talent and ability to make a living outside or from the slot.
Weaknesses
Routes can be lazy at times. Will need to improve with selling fakes at break point of his routes as a pro. Too reliant on athleticism and speed over improvement of skill level. Hands are a concern with 11 drops to 106 catches at Florida. Plays smaller than his listed size. Suspended four times while at Florida. Scouts call him immature and selfish.
Draft Projection
Rounds 6 or 7
Sources Tell Us
"I think he's going to struggle off of press, and he didn't make big plays that were there for him sometimes. He's way faster on tape than in timing. He got suspended four times. I'm too old for that (expletive). If you get suspended that much, you are crying out to teams that you won't ever change." -- NFC wide receivers coach
NFL Comparison
Mike Wallace
Bottom Line
Immensely talented with elite combination of straight-*line speed and quick*-twitch athleticism. Robinson flashes game*-breaking potential as a deep ball threat and after the catch, but was suspended by two different coaches over a three-year period. While Robinson is likely to test off the charts and has the talent to be a top four receiver in this draft, it is hard to imagine his draft slot equaling his talent due to his character concerns.

PLAYER OVERVIEW

Coaches have been raving about Robinson's potential since he joined the team, but his freshman season was interrupted by multiple suspensions due to failed drug tests and he struggled to make an impact, catching just five passes for 23 yards in seven games.
Robinson lived up to his billing in 2014, enjoying the best season by a Gator receiver since 2009 with 53 catches for 810 yards and seven scores. Robinson's production may not look like much in comparison to others across the country, but he clearly was Florida's top target, leading the team in receiving seven times in '14.

Robinson again led the Gators in catches as a junior (48) with 522 receiving yards and two scores, but also received his fourth suspension in his time in Gainesville.

STRENGTHS: The long-limbed Robinson sports an athletic frame with broad shoulders, a tapered middle and good overall musculature for the position. He accelerates smoothly off the snap, showing the burst to challenge deep as well as the body control to make sharp cuts to create separation.

The most compelling aspect of Robinson's game is his ability after the catch. Robinson isn't satisfied with just making the reception, showing the strength to break free from arm tackles and impressive stop-start quickness and agility to hamper defenders' pursuit angles. Further, though occasionally his feet will slip out from under him, Robinson shows intriguing balance to run through swipes at his legs. Has the hand-eye coordination to make one-handed grabs look easy.

WEAKNESSES: Remains a bit raw as a route-runner, too often rounding off rather than exploding out of his cuts, relying more on his natural athletic ability than technique. While Robinson possesses soft hands to pluck the ball outside of his frame, he can improve tracking the ball over his shoulder. He remains a work in progress as a downfield blocker, as well, too often missing opportunities to help teammates.

Allergic to contact and won't power through tackles. Doesn't pay attention to the details. Strong accountability concerns as he struggled to get out of his own way in college, earned four separate suspensions spanning two different coaching staffs.

IN OUR VIEW: He has outstanding raw talent at the position with balanced body control and flexibility to accelerate with his second and third strides. However, Robinson doesn't have an appreciation for the mechanics of the position with focus issues that allow his surroundings to affect his play and personality. Scouts have stamped him with a buyer beware tag due to his frequent visits to the principal's office, which will push him down (or off) draft baords.

The Chiefs picked a wide receiver, Demarcus Robinson, with their final fourth-round pick. Robinson was suspended numerous times in college at Florida and said at the scouting combine in February that as a freshman he went through rehab for drug abuse.

I think DAT and Hammond are likely gone. Wilson better step it up too if he down't want a demotion or worse.

I hate to say it but until someone can supplant Hammond as a punt returner, I think he's got a roster spot.

Wilson (aka Soft Bitch) can go Bye Bye.
