Red Friday. Who's going to the pep rally in Westport?
I'll be there at the Chiefs Coalition tent. Stop by and say hay. Boomer is going to sign autographs at the tent from 5:30 pm till he leaves to emcee the stage program.

5:00 p.m.Pep Rally begins (Music, entertainment, Interactive Exhibits, etc.)
5:30 p.m. Autograph session with Chiefs Ambassadors.
5:30 p.m. TD Pack Band and Chiefs Cheerleaders on stage
6:00 p.m. Program begins (Announcements, KC Wolf, etc.)
6-7 p.m. Metro Sports and Channel 5 Live from Westport
7:00 p.m. Player introduction (Chiefs Management, Ambassadors, and Chiefs players)
7:30 p.m. Pep Rally Program ends
8-10 p.m. Live Music from $ELLOUT!10 p.m. Pep Rally ends

It was orginally in Westport in the mid-90's. The partying got kind of out of hand and families stopped going.

They moved it to Arrowhead for 2 or 3 years and made it family friendly.

The last 2 years its been back in Westport. Last year was cool for families but you were still allowed to drink in the streets.

We ought to get rid of Red Friday. The players and coaches could really gain a competitive advantage by using those precious few hours to practice and study their playbooks. After all, it's only tradition.

The players do have something going on at Arrowhead on Friday night. I don't know what it is but there is something going on. Maybe use those "inside sources" and let us know what the hell it is?
