Why is aTm ranked so high? They weren't very good last year, and they lost a player who is going to turn a shitty NFL defense into a dominant unit. It seems like there would be a huge dropoff.

I don't put stock into W/L record in the preseason but I do but a lot of stock into how the starters play against other starters. Denver has absolutely dominated other teams first string to a score of 35-9. Von Miller and Doom look fan****ingtastic and so does Joe Mays, Cassius Vaughn, Broderick Bunkley, and Rahim Moore. Those 6 guys didn't play at all for our defense last year (Mays did briefly but got hurt), so when you add 6 excellent players to a defense plus a healthy Andre Goodman our defense will be much better.

The offense is returning every key contributor from the #7 pass offense in the NFL plus we will actually have a running game this year. Denver looks good, as long as we can stay healthy we will be able to play with anyone this year.

And I'd also like to add, the most important thing people have to remember is that:

Orton>Cassel.

huge advantage for Denver there. denver did the right thing by keeping him. I know they were trying to get rid of him but he is the best QB on their roster. might as well stick with him?
